Your power. Your battleground.

A farming spot is worth fighting for. UNLEASHED brings that fight closer to your own strength: Fighting Spirit now determines your farming-map tier, from Cape Dragon through Nephrite and Gautama to Thunder. Your equipped build and permanent progression decide where you belong. Temporary buffs and farming-only damage bonuses do not raise your tier.

These are still PvX maps. Metins, bosses and rival players share the same hunting grounds. Your tier creates closer competition; your positioning, decisions and equipment decide what happens next. New inventory readouts show Offence and Defence/Sustain, and inspecting another player reveals their Fighting Spirit too.

Mythgate is where you prepare

The refreshed Mythgate Sanctuary becomes your base between battles. Existing characters return here for the update, with protected Collector areas, rearranged services and the Guardian entrance to the Tower of Greed. New Chunjo and Jinno characters start in their own kingdom areas.

Choose a destination through the new visual map gate and land at a random outdoor point, outside safe zones. Shops, service NPCs, Teleporters and Guardians have left the farming maps. Stock up first: your main equipment stays locked out there, while the shared accessory slots used by Nazar amulets remain available for compatible items. Reconnecting checks your tier again and returns an unsuitable build to Mythgate.

Cape keeps its lower-half safe areas; its upper-half safe zones are removed. Nephrite, Gautama and Thunder have none. Watch for the temporary Warrior Ghost and its map marker: it offers a free return to a protected Collector area. Town revivals lead to Mythgate; reviving in place inside the Sanctuary is free. Hearts of Renaissance retain their in-place revival on farming maps and in Wubba Arena.

A build that can fight back

Attack and resistance have been reworked so well-equipped characters can deal meaningful damage to other strong builds. Matching class attack and resistance offset each other directly. Accessory-jewel resistance increments become Half-Human resistance, while the item's native class resistance remains intact.

Defensive costume bonuses are reduced, including existing rolls; offensive bonuses and costume HP stay unchanged. Doctor Death starter costumes retain their predefined stats but lose extra rolled bonuses and no longer accept bonus additions or rarity upgrades. Rejected attempts preserve materials. Assassin Camouflage breaks target lock again, while manual swings and area attacks can still connect under normal PvP rules.

Dragon's Wrath: keep the hunt alive

Destroy naturally spawned Metins and defeat eligible field bosses to build Dragon's Wrath. Advance through Awakening → Surge → Fury → Unleashed as the dedicated meter fills. Epic and Legendary Metins contribute more, and field bosses give a larger boost than normal stones.

The charge strengthens eligible direct PvM hits on farming maps. It does not increase PvP damage or loot chances, and summoned Metins neither charge the meter nor receive its damage bonus. Keep fighting to maintain momentum. Inactivity gradually drains it; death, travel and reconnecting do not instantly reset it, but time offline still counts.

Progress that carries forward

Rarity progression has been rebuilt across weapons, armour and accessories. Common → Epic and Epic → Legendary now begin with the native stats of the fully refined previous rarity. Continue improving from there with revised stat curves; belt storage capacity carries over too.

Monster Hunter adds permanent passive damage against monsters, bosses and Metins. Craft its books at Yak-Hwan with Energy Fragments and Yang. Crafting and reading always succeed, with no reading cooldown or experience cost. Progress survives death, class changes and skill resets.

Claim the crown. Enter the contest.

Opening the King's Chest at the Collector now awards the Usurper's Crown instead of Royal Seals. Use it to unlock Kingslayer, a timed title with HP and PvP attack and resistance bonuses while selected. Its timer starts on use and continues offline or unequipped.

The Wubba panel offers Teleport and Spectate while the boss fight or chest contest is open. The boss's reward pool focuses on the King's Chest and Luminous Beryl; previous extra vouchers, chests, Hearts and Magic Stones leave the pool. Carrying the King's Chest no longer grants combat bonuses, while movement and escape restrictions remain. A successful escape returns the carrier and remaining arena players to Mythgate.

A cleaner reward pool

Town/location Scrolls and short-duration bone accessories are retired, including removal of existing copies. Chest of Fortune has fewer possible rewards, making those that remain more likely while preserving their relative rarity. Mimic Chests replace Town Scrolls with Collector Keys.

Affected progression missions and Battle Pass rewards are updated: Collector Keys replace retired rewards on the free track, with Hearts of Renaissance and Epic Costume Tickets on premium. Voting keeps combat buffs and eligible Battle Pass progress, but stops awarding MD vouchers. Previously issued vouchers remain usable.

Better every time you play

Batch crafting shows the total cost, chance per attempt and maximum output; failed attempts still consume resources. Rechargeable costumes no longer disappear when their usable time expires in offline shops, deposits or auctions. They retain their bonuses, rarity and edition details; starter costumes keep their expiry rules.

Reforging, Battle Pass, Wiki and Collector windows are clearer. Map markers, HUD spacing, the Monster Hunter book icon and reward previews are improved. A combat crash involving Dragon's Wrath is fixed. Chat links open in your browser, incoming whispers draw Windows taskbar attention, and Discord Rich Presence shows your session and community links.
